What we keep about you

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Reading it leaves nothing with us.

Our web host, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary technical logs, as every host does, to keep the site running and safe.

We keep your email address and the record of your order: your member number, the country you told us and the billing country, the amount, the date, which version of the terms applied, and whether your download email was sent.

We use them to deliver the product, to send your download again when you ask, to answer you when you write, and to keep the business records the law requires.

We never see your card. Payment is handled by Stripe, who keep what they need to process it under their own privacy policy.

Your download email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service. It receives your address and the message, and nothing else.

We note the email address you entered and the time, so that the page cannot be used to flood anyone's inbox.

We keep your email address, the words you agreed to, and when. That is our proof that you asked, which Canadian anti-spam law requires us to hold.

Every email we send you has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it works for as long as we exist. After you unsubscribe we keep only the note that you did, so that we never write to you again by mistake.

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own use. We never add you to a mailing list you did not ask for, and buying does not count as asking.

Anything you write in your own notebook stays on your own computer. We never see it and could not if we wanted to.

Order records are kept for six years, because Canadian tax law requires business records to be kept that long. Re-send notes are kept only as long as they are useful for that limit.
